As most fans of The Road Show know, I am a Seattle Seahawks FAN! I lived in Seattle for several years, but I was a fan before I moved there. And as a Seahawks fan, I've put up with an inordinate amount of hatin' on my Seahawks. Granted, they've only been to one Super Bowl. But tonight, as Seattle takes on Green Bay in Seattle, there is one OVERWHELMING stat about the 'Hawks that nobody can argue with.
When it comes to playing on Monday Nights, the Seattle Sehawks have the best record in the league!
Doubt me? Here are the numbers. You can look it up.
Their current record on Monday Night Football is an astonishing 17-8. Easily, the best winning percentage of any other team in the NFL.
The last time they lost on Monday Night Football was eight years ago when they played the Dallas Cowboys.
Even though Seattle hasn't put together a winning record since 2007, their wins in their last five contests on Monday Night Football have been very convincing.
All five have been wins and three of those five have been shutouts.
The most recent victory on Monday night was against St. Louis on Dec. 12, 2011. They harassed Bradford and beat the Rams into submission 30-13.
During primetime games as a whole, their record is 35-25.
I will take a 58 percent winning percentage in front of a national audience any day. With Green Bay traveling to the Link for the first time since 2008, there's no question playing the Seahawks in Seattle during primetime will not be in their favor.
