I ran into a long time listener in the Fox Theater lobby last night at ZZ Top. After I helped him back to his feet, he asked me, "Hey Bellski! Why do you call your radio show The Road Show?"
There's this term in broadcasting called "Drive Time" consisting of the hours that most people are driving to or from work. I'm on during what is known as "Afternoon Drive."
The Road Show name came from that: You're on the road home when I'm doing my thing. Simple as that.
