I watched "Red Tails" over the weekend. I hate to admit it was a coincidence that I rented it on Memorial day. I liked the movie very much, even though most critics did not. 

On Saturday morning I was sitting on my patio smoking a cigar and having my morning coffee when the B17 "Sentimental Journey" flew over my house at low altitude. To say it was loud would be an understatement. It rattled the house. Now just imagine the sky filled with hundreds of those exact same planes! 

Thursday we will be holding an all day drive through funds drive to raise the $100,000 dollars for the next veteran's "Honor Flight." The flights fly WWII vets to Washington D.C. to visit the WWII memorial and other historical monuments in the D.C. area.
