Back in 1961, it came as quite a shock to a lot of Folk Rock fans when one of the best acoustic guitar players, Bob Dylan, plugged in and went electric.
And ironically enough, back in 1992, it came as quite a shock to a lot of Rock n Roll fans when one of the best electric guitar players, Eric Clapton, unplugged and went acoustic.
Of course after their career transformation, both turned out pretty good, but only one of those musicians went on to sell 19 million albums showcasing his new sound...and that was Clapton.
So now 21 years later, Clapton's "Unplugged" album has now come out as "Unplugged: Expanded and Remastered".
The orignal multi Grammy award winning live album captured Clapton backed by a small band performing acoustic versions of some of his best known songs as well as some standard Blues tunes that inspired Clapton when he was first starting out in the Yardbirds.
According to Reprise Records, the new release features a new double CD/DVD collection that includes a remastered version of the original album along with 6 unreleased outtakes on CD.
The DVD features a newly restored version of the concert as well as more than an hour of previously unseen rehearsal footage including 14 songs, some seen by fans for the first time.
And as far as that Dylan guy is concerned...I'm sure we haven't heard the last from him either.
If you've ever dreamed of jamming with Rock Stars, then Rock n Roll Fantasy Camp is for you.
This ultimate musician's fantasy camp will feature Rob Halford lead singer of Judas Priest, Joe Perry lead guitarist of Aerosmith, Geoff Tate lead singer of Queensryche, former Van Halen and current Chickenfoot bassist Michael Anthony, former Ozzy and current Black Label Society guitarist Zakk Wylde, former David Lee Roth guitarist and current solo artist Steve Vai, Blues guitarist Eric Johnson and more.

If you like to hear those crazy comedians on the Bob & Tom Show every morning, then you'll like them even more when you see them in person.
Tomorrow night you'll get your chance as the Bob & Tom Comedy Show makes it's way to the Fox Theater featuring some of Bob & Tom's favorite comedians like Bob Zany, Augie Smith, Dave Dyer and Henry Phillips.
What makes them even funnier in person is the fact that they don't have to follow FCC on air regulations that make them hold back some of their funniest and sometimes "Blue" material like they have to do on the Bob & Tom Show.
But don't worry if you'll get embarrassed because even though they might work a little more in the adult style of comedy, they don't exactly go into Andrew Dice Clay territory of X Rated comedy....but they might get pretty close...(wink wink)
If you weren't lucky enough to win free tickets on the air, you can still get some pretty decent seats at Vallitx.com or at the Fox Theater Box Office tomorrow night.
And to top it off, it's a good time for a good cause as a portion of the ticket price will be donated to the American Red Cross to help in their relief efforts for folks in need.

If you're a Pink Floyd and David Gilmore fan then you're going to want to get this.
Pink Floyd.com has just announced that they have just released the new David Gilmore In Concert App available for iPhone and iPad.
Back in 2001 and 2002 Pink Floyd's singer guitarist and co-founder, David Gilmore, performed some solo concerts at The Meltdown Festival at London's Royal Festival Hall and these performances were captured on video.
During that time David performed some songs with just voice and guitar and others with a mostly acoustic group including piano, double bass, guitar, cello, drums and a large vocal choir.
The first 13 Pink Floyd and solo songs were shot in HD with the remainder of the concert footage and the extras shot in standard def.
The David Gilmore In Concert App is now available in the Apple App Store.
