Just when you thought that every Beatles song ever recorded or perfromed as been released, there comes news of a new source of Beatles material not heard since it was first performed back in the very early days of The Beatles.
According to Radio.com, there's a new Beatles album coming that contains unreleased songs, live performances and assorted banter between the Fab Four, all recorded in the '60's.
"On Air - Live At The BBC Volume 2" presents 2 CD's of unheard, archived material not found on the 1994 release "Live At The BBC".
Volume 2 features 63 tracks total, including 37 previously unreleased performances and 23 previously unreleased recordings of in studio banter and conversation between The Beatles and the BBC radio DJ's.
10 of the songs on the new album were never even recorded by The Beatles in the '60's and 2 songs make their debut as direct to air performances along with different versions of 6 rarities first heard on Volume 1.
The album release date will be announced soon, mostly likely in time for the holiday shopping season .
