After his stint in The Beatles, Ringo Starr's solo career has kept him in the public eye with the help of his solo hit songs, "Photograph" being the biggest one.
So now Ringo is following up on "Photograph" with a book of what else?
Photographs of course!
Ringo will soon unveil a collection of previously unseen photographs of The Beatles in their glory days from his personal collection, in a new photography book due out next month.
"Photograph," which will be released as an e-book on Apple's iBookstore on June 12, will coincide with a Grammy Museum exhibit on Starr, entitled "Ringo: Peace & Love".
The book will include photographs from Ringo's childhood in Liverpool, England, to his road to fame as part of the Fab Four, with Paul McCartney, John Lennon and George Harrison.
Highlights from his one of a kind collection include behind the scenes photgraphs of The Beatles in their daily lives and Ringo's travel photography as they toured the world.
Ringo has also recorded videos featuring commentary to accompany the e-book.
A limited edition hand bound book signed by Ringo will be available for purchase in December.
