Apparently over the past 4 decades Neil Young has taken a lot of psychedlic pills.

So what better inspiration for the latest Neil Young and Crazy Horse album?

Released about a month ago, it's the first album of original music from Neil Young and Crazy Horse in almost a decade, including over 85 minutes of music.

Psychedelic Pill goes where previous Crazy Horse albums have gone before, but never really fully explored.

Neil says that new textures emerge in the music with new landscapes in the lyrics.

In many ways, Psychedelic Pill rounds out what Neil has always tried to accomplish...blow your mind.

It comes in a deluxe 3 LP set and pressed on audiophile quality 180 gram black vinyl presented in a triple pocket M-Pak jacket.

Side F of the third disc displays an original art etching pressed into the vinyl, in an initial first pressing of 5000 copies.

Evidently it's quite a trip.
