Steven and Erin... Awe..... the happy couple... sigh!
Wednesday 06-25-2008 10:40am PT

I would like to thank the very dedicated and loyal listener... Karen Bloom for always keeping me in the loop on the latest pics of my "boyfriend" Steven...

I am a little disgusted with him right now... as it doesn't appear he is takng his relapse seriously...just might lose his ass to save his face...  Addiction is a VERY SERIOUS disease!    And Relapse after 20 some years is deadly! I am just concerned.. that's all.

But to see him gallavanting around with Erin (who still "parties" AND HARD  if that's what you want to call it... ) and saying that his residential rehab was just a place he needed to be to "recharge and shut off his cell phone"... kinda makes me nuts... SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO many people look up to him... but this is his journey... so I'll get off my soap box ... for now.

Karen sent these links .... for you to see what Steven's been up to this past week.

NUN SEES MIRACLE

Page SixPhoto

June 25, 2008 --

WHO said nuns are out of touch? Yesterday afternoon, recently rehabbed Steven Tyler made a quick stop at a SoHo Starbucks and was confronted by an unlikely fan. A witness reports a nun went "crazy" upon realizing that the man next to her in line was the Aerosmith frontman. According to our spy, the nun started jumping up and down and yelling to Tyler "Have a good day" and, "I can't believe that you are in my Starbucks."

Joe Bonamassa ... What's the Buzz?
Thursday 06-12-2008 9:41pm PT
Well for crying out loud...

Folks are asking ... Who's this AMAZING
Joe Bonamassa we keep hearin' all about!!!???

Lemme tell you... this guy is UNBELIEVABLE!!!

He's coming to the BC Outdoor Theatre on Friday, June 27th... (thank you Pat at World Records :))

A prodigy, a God.. Ted Nugent has compared this guy to "Stevie Ray "F-ing" Vaughn, Jimmy Hendrix and Jeff Beck!!!!

Click his pic to go to his official site..

And just a little Fyi....
Joe Bonamassa is quickly becoming one of the hottest young blues rockers on the scene today. His savory style and hard driving sound has much to do with that. He has an amazing knack for mixing the old with the new, and paying homage to past blues and rock idols. He understands the roots of both genres, primarily because he was exposed to the music while very young. He was handed his first guitar at age four. When his first solo record was released, at age 21, it was life in the fast lane for Smokin' Joe Bonamassa. And it doesn't look like he'll be slowing down anytime soon.

Some of Joe's album titles are the song titles of others, such as 2000's A New Day Yesterday, 2003's Blues Deluxe, and 2004's Had To Cry Today. These titles, by Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull), Rod Stewart (Jeff Beck Group), and Steve Winwood (Blind Faith), respectively, are covered on the albums as well. It's no requirement by any means, as his compositions are worthy enough on their own. Joe just loves to flaunt the music of his idols and influences. He does it live, too, within his originals. It's not unusual to hear an introduction reminiscent of the cries in Jeff Beck's volume manipulated 'Cause We've Ended As Lovers', or even the signature riffs to the conclusion of Frampton's 'Do You Feel Like We Do'. These little bits and pieces add flavor, spice, and a flash of deja vu to his live shows, and never fail to put smiles upon faces as fans suddenly recall the compelling riff from the past.  (WAY more on his website -- Click pic above!)

And we're blowin' out tons o' tickets... Be at Amigos on Wednesday nights or Text "Win" to win to the number 85573 :)

As always,

Love you!!!!  and thanks for listening!!!! XOXOXOXO!

Because of YOUR FEET??? MY FOOT!!!
Sunday 06-01-2008 4:23pm PT

Well for Pete's SAKE!   lookey here...

Aerosmith frontman
Steven Tyler issued a statement last night about his recent stint in rehab. Tyler said that his "trademark athletic performances" injured his feet, requiring surgery. "The doctors told me the pain in my feet could be corrected but it would require a few surgeries over time," Tyler said in the statement. "The 'foot repair' pain was intense, greater than I'd anticipated. The months of rehabilitative care, and the painful strain of physical therapy were traumatic." The hard-charging rocker, who famously cleaned up his act in the 1990s, said he needed to check into a Pasadena rehab hospital to get right. "I really needed a safe environment to recuperate where I could shut off my phone and get back on my feet," Tyler told TMZ. "Make no mistake, Aerosmith has no plans to stop rocking. There's a new album to record, then another tour."

GawwllDERN it!
I am getting the vibe that he might be trying to sweep this trip to rehab ... under the carpet.  And that WOULD SUCK!!!

Because this man, adored and idolized by MILLIONS around the world showed so much courage to SOOO MANY to go IN to rehab, and if he comes out saying it was "HIS FEET"... that got him there... I'm gonna take one of  mine and kick him in HIS ASS for that~!!!

I have also read the reports that "they" are blaming Erin Brady... Steven's younger and much less sober girlfriend for his relapse.  WHAT!??? Did Erin tie him up and FORCE drugs and or alcohol down his throat???? I doubt that... HMMMMMMNnnnnnn Does this 60 year old man have NO mind of his own as to what he puts in his body...what choices he makes... HMMNNNNNNNNNnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!?

Look, I was no fan of Erin when they hooked up, seemed WAY too quick on the heels of the split with his wife (since 1988) Theresa (Who BTW left STEVEN for their Gardner!!!
WHAT BTW... is that all about??? Let's see STEVEN TYLER or the little sweaty guy who comes every week and Grabs on to a hoe and just digs right in.. or ...er Ho!  ohoooo... well nevermind ..that explains that! Seriously, cheating ON and leaving Steven.. .what f*&kin planet lady... ????)  Well I got off on a tangent didn't I... and I don't know the whole story.. and maybe that gardner was REALLY good at mowing the lawn...know what I'm sayin'...? ;)

Anyway... I watched as he hooked up with this young Erin Brady... a former Clear Channel Tour Promoter and die hard Rocker chick!  She morphed quickly into what Steven desires in a lady... She dyed her beautiful long, brown hair.. a grody dishwater blonde... thrashed it!!! And she must have trimmed down from a size 5 to a 0... it looked unhealthy!  But anyway... that's her dealio. Whatever... she always seemed "butt-hurt" about stuff and VERY insecure and Jealous.

And you know what? It would be very difficult to be Steven Tyler's Girlfriend!  With the Whole world full of Anne Kelly's, AeroTera's and Mz Jennys... EVERY woman you meet wants to F*&K your boyfriend! That would really wear on your nerves... but that's another story... (and Tangent!)

My point tonight is, that NO one but Steven Tyler is responsible for STEVEN TYLER relapsing... No one! Yes, perhaps Erin Brady is a drug lovin' party girl, but Steven chose her as his Girlfriend. Soooooooooooooo all I have to say is... Steven, if you keep hanging around the Barber shop... YOU are eventually GOOOING TO GET A Haircut!!!  So ... stop passing blame.. on Erin, or
your FEET!!! (For crying out loud!) .. and look within and begin to tap into the Solution. Take this time out and look inside and once again, see what can truly fill that "Hole in your Soul"...     With gut wrenching Honesty... start the journey back out and up... :)

I love you Steven Tyler! (Once you get a year clean and sober... go out and find yourself a nice sober gal... one who's crazy about you... I know of
JUUUSSST the right one ;) )

Theres a hole in my soul thats been killing me forever

Its a place where a garden never grows
Theres a hole in my soul, yeah I should have known better....

Steven Tyler in Rehab...
Thursday 05-22-2008 1:15pm PT

BREAKING NEWS  5/21/2008

Aerosmith singer Steven Tyler is reportedly back in rehab. Both T-M-Z and Us magazine are reporting that he has checked into the Pasadena Recovery Center in California, where he is allegedly being treated for substance abuse. Dr. Drew Pinsky, from V-H-1's Celebrity Rehab, is affiliated with the center. Tyler has reportedly been clean since the mid-'80s after years of drug and alcohol abuse. Our calls to both Tyler's manager and publicist have not been returned

This picture was taken that night, May 9th by the Paparazzi... Take a look at his eyes and expression... He's holding the picture of Aeromyth that Chris gave him... here is my blog from my myspace that I wrote late last night after Amigos;

Well this afternoon...  Montana came in to the studio with a wide-eyed look on his face... I said "What?" ... "What is it?"...  "WHAT?"   I was up to my ears in stuff... had interviews that were coming in to tape and edit... Doug Benson, Ted Nugent... a busy ass day with liners and giveaways and production! Sheesh...

Montana looks at me and says... "Did you Read Premiere yet"... I said.. "Goodness not yet... I haven't even had time to turn around!"  He said... "Steven Tyler's in Rehab"...

I thought .. well...hmmmmnnnnnn Good... Good for him!  And Bless his heart!  When we went down to the Musicares/Map shindig a couple of Fridays back...  Mind you.. .this was an entriely sober event. With Rock stars young and old that have battled these demons and have kept them at bay.  Slash with almost 3 years... Alice Cooper with 20+ years... James Hetfield, Jerry Cantrell, Janie Lane... an amazing array of  Rock GODS that lived the Sex Drugs and Rock and Roll lifestyle... but have "Turned the Titanic" around.  :)

I  would be lying if I said that we didn't head down there to just get a moment with Steven... (happy Sigh)  Afterall he has been sober since 1986.. or so we thought.  I have heard that he still does 12 step calls... and sponsors young musicians who still struggle... I was and have been inspired by all of that ... EVERYTHING Steven for many years now... So I was thinking,  "Geez, Who knows HOW long it will be before I see him again... what's something special and or different to do... say... ask???  For some reason I thought of this beautiful little American Indian Recovery Medallion that I have carried for a while now... it has the most amazing prayer on the back... so genuine and "In the Spirit of Love"... (There are pictures here in my picture albums)   So I thought... "Yeah! That's it... I'll give him that!"   He'll appreciate and understand that.... so I would take it out and look at it.. thinking... "Although this is cool... he's gonna think I'm a dork... Nahhh I can't give this to him!"... ugh...

So then my friend Leslie suggested that I engrave it.... WHAT!!! ENGRAVE it...??? I am so sure!!!  Duuuhhhrrrrrr Here you go Steven...  I thought "NO WAY!" Super Stalker status... but then I thought... um... "Maybe she's right... THAT'S GENIUS!!!"  Yes I will get it engraved... so off I went... Let's see... his initials... "SVT" and then really tiny on the other side ... a little heart and my name... "Anne Kelly".  I went to the mall in a hurry to make sure that it would be ready for our big trip to Hollywood...  I even picked up a new coin, exactly like the orignal and had them do the same engraving so I could keep one for posterity

The next morning I thought ... Gawdamn... what a GEEEEK!  I can't give that to him... he'll think I'm Stoooooopid... harrumph!  I mentioned some of my agony and of being on the fence about it to Chris VanDahl... my friend who is the "Steven Tyler" in an AMAZING Tribute band called AEROMYTH... LOVE him... I always say that he can literally CHANNEL Steven... he is unbelievable! Chris said WAIT... that it was a VERY good idea!  Matter of fact, get an inexpensive chain... he will be touched.. .and might just wear it close to his heart!

I thought... .okay.. okay... OKAY... I will!   And off to the fabric store to find just the right "Steven Tyler" ribbon.... I packed it safely in my purse as we headed down for one of the biggest adventures of our lives!  (I will have to blog the details of that trip for you... it was incredible!... it's late... I'll have to save that for another day/night!)

As we waited for Steven to make his way towards us on the red carpet... we spoke with several inspiring Rock Stars... about Sobriety, and what they are grateful for today... (through the evening) Matt Sorum from Velvet Revolver, the Blind Melon Guys...   Steven came towards us... and as excited and thrilled as we were... he looked a little ... I dunno, Different??? Not a lot of smiling and campy vamping... nope.  He was a little "yellow" toned too... I thought perhaps his liver was acting up from the Hepatitis C .... His eyes were dark and he seemed... Hollow and quiet.  We thought perhaps he just felt bad, or was sick with the flu.. .or had just had a fight with his girlfriend... Erin... ???

It didn't matter, we wanted to have that precious, sacred moment with him... and as I called out to him... and first introduced him to Chris... That moment was phenomenal!  Look at the pics... see how much Chris looks like Steven... naturally!  It was weird.  Steven wasn't that playful but seemed like he would oblige us... I said "Steven... here" and I placed the medallion in his hands... he stopped and looked at it... and said... "Hmmnnnn what's this"... I bumbled through the explaination that I had six years sober... that I loved him and he inspires me... it was a Grandfather Prayer, Indian coin.... babblebabblebabble!

He held on to it as we and several others asked for autographs... and he was being rushed... I MEAN RUSHED along to get inside.  I think he put the medal in his pocket... And I'll say again, I wish I could have gone with it.

This may sound super cheesy, but I slept with that medal around my neck the night before, I kissed it and sent as much love as I could into it ... love and appreciation and gratitude.   I hope that he could feel some of that energy that night... and who knows, just maybe he still has it somewhere... and he  might come across it to read it again someday....

It is not uncommon for folks with multiple years of sobriety to fall  HARD off the wagon and back out there again... we say that you go right back to where you were... and a few steps back. The horrors that consumed you before are stil there and even more horrifing.   How awful it must have been for Steven to be there surrounded by hundreds of sober peers... fellow Rock Stars and legends all talking the talk and walking the walk. Steven even had to present Slash with an award for his dedication to the Musicares program.  To be there amidst all of that.. AND BE LOADED and dying inside must have been HELL on earth!

I think that that night made a difference for Steven, I think he decided that night to choose to live again, rather than slowly die... I am proud to hear the news that he is in rehab.  He is still an inspiration.... He's pulling the throttle back up again and he will inspire thougsands more.  This may sound strange, but  I both wish him all the best AND I wish him the gut-wenching desperation that brought him to rehab this week... because THAT really is the foundation for  his new life.  Some folks have called that Step Zero.... "This CRAP has to stop"...

Who knows if that precious coin is in his posession anymore or not... either way it was a VERY important day/event. And I am soooo grateful to have been a part of it.

I remember when I first heard and understood the lyrics to Amazing... I have quoted them time and again in many of my Recovery Speeches... sigh... Tonight, although he wrote them,  I'd like to dedicate them again to Steven....

Amazing

I kept the right ones out
And let the wrong ones in
Had an angel of mercy to see me through all my sins
There were times in my life
When I was goin' insane
Tryin' to walk through
The pain
When I lost my grip
And I hit the floor
Yeah,I thought I could leave but couldn't get out the door
I was so sick and tired
Of livin' a lie
I was wishin that I
Would die

[Chorus:]
It's Amazing
With the blink of an eye you finally see the light
It's Amazing
When the moment arrives that you know you'll be alright
It's Amazing
And I'm sayin' a prayer for the desperate hearts tonight

That one last shot's a Permanent Vacation
And how high can you fly with broken wings?
Life's a journey not a destination
And I just can't tell just what tomorrow brings

You have to learn to crawl
Before you learn to walk
But I just couldn't listen to all that righteous talk, oh yeah
I was out on the street,
Just tryin' to survive
Scratchin' to stay
Alive

This is the front of the coin... his initials "SVT in the lower left hand corner.. and a li'l heart and my name in the lower right

The back... this is my copy... so it's scratched up a bit.. his was the new, shiny one.. it was much more clear.

Big shot of my HAIR!!! but if you look closely... you can see Steven holding the ribbon of his coin.
