INDIANAPOLIS STAR - With a career arc that parallels the rise of modern Indianapolis, Bob Kevoian and Tom Griswold will reach on Thursday their 30th anniverary of doing morning radio on WFBQ-FM (94.7).
On the topic of longevity, Griswold said he knew little about the city or Q95 when he visited for a job interview.
"I was staying Downtown at the Hyatt," said Griswold, pictured with Kevoian (wearing the Dodgers cap) in 1986. "I remember looking out the window and there was this big hole in the ground. That was the RCA Dome (under construction), which kind of puts into perspective how long it's been."
"The Bob & Tom Show," on the air since March 7, 1983, is heard weekdays on 131 stations nationwide.
